Apple Sausage Balls
I never thought it could be possible to make sausage balls any better, but I have to say I was shocked at how much we loved this apple version! The subtle hint of sweetness with the savory sausage is a match made in heaven! My family goes apple picking in the NC mountains every fall, and during apple season we are always trying to find new ways to use them in recipes! This one right here will be on repeat every Fall going forward! They are so easy to make and everyone is going to love them, maybe even more than the traditional version!
Ingredients:
1 lb. breakfast sausage
2 cups of pancake mix
1 block of sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 apple, shredded (Add more apple if you want more sweetness)
