The Best Breakfast Sliders, Ever!
This may go down as one of the best breakfast recipes of all time! I’ve truly never had something like it! The Maple syrup + butter glaze that tops these sliders, turns into almost a glazed doughnut Kings Hawaiian roll situation! It’s crazy, amazingly, delicious! These sliders are a great make ahead recipe if you want to meal prep! They also can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months! Of course if you want to do sausage or ham, instead of bacon, that would be yummy too! Make extra, because everyone will be coming back for seconds!
Ingredients:
1 package of Smithfield thick cut bacon
12 Kings Hawaiian buns
6 large eggs, scrambled
4-6 slices pepper jack cheese
4-6 slices American cheese
3 tbs. butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup
Here’s how to make it:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cut bacon into 2 to 3 inch pieces (I cut each strip twice) and place into a skillet over medium heat and cook bacon until done.
transfer bacon to paper towel to get off any excess grease and set aside.
Using a serrated knife, cut rolls in half lengthwise. Place bottom half of rolls in 9×13-inch baking dish
Scoop scrambled eggs onto bottom rolls and then top with pepper jack cheese slices. Place bacon on top of pepper jack and top with American cheese. Add top buns.
Combine melted butter and maple syrup in small bowl. Brush over tops of rolls allowing sauce to drip down sides and into bottom. Use entire amount.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted! Enjoy!
